Relevant Times-Call articles
In the 20th June 2021 Longmont Times-Call there is a front-page article, “Longmont’s growth prompts criticisms, councilmembers’ reactions”, relating to this topic. My initial Opinion piece had been published on 17th June, and Times-Call wrote the 20 June story in response. Several civic leaders responded to requests from the writer, John Fryar. I shall next mention some of those responses and comment on them. I hasten to add that I like each of the leaders whom Fryar has interviewed, and I respect the service they have done in getting us to this size. It’s just that it’s time to stop, and I fear some of them might be running on momentum.
